Trainee Sales & Property Management Agent

Interesting and varied role where no two days are the same! Our Cheltenham based Property Management and Estate Agent is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic person to join the team. With over 30 years experience of lettings, sales and property management our client offers full training, excellent working conditions and a small friendly team.

Candidates will need an interest in property sales, confident in communicating both face to face and over the phone and have the desire to offer a first class service to both tenants and Landlords. After training the successful candidate will manage their own portfolio of properties!

Key duties will include:

• Carry out face to face property viewings with a view to letting or selling properties
• Follow up on sales leads
• Logging maintenance issues from tenants
• Liaising with landlords & contractors to obtain quotes and effect repairs; ensuring properties are safe and legally compliant
• Carrying out routine property visits
• Preparing properties for move-in, including inventories
• Handling tenants vacating the property and move-out inspections
• Negotiating the return deposits at the end of tenancy
• General administration

Candidates core competencies:

• Strong communicator with a confident telephone manner
• Educated to A level standard
• 1 -2 years experience of working in a customer service based role
• Keen to learn
• Microsoft IT skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• A full driving license is essential
