Deputy Manager Children s Residential Care

Location: Witney, Oxfordshire (brand new 4-bed EBD home)
Salary: GBP33,600 GBP34,800 + GBP3,250 GBP6,500 per year for sleep-ins
Hours: 39 hours per week
Driving Requirement: Full UK Driving Licence

A newly opened children s home in Witney is seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to help lead and shape therapeutic care for young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). If you have a strong background in residential childcare and are ready for the next step, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

What you ll be doing:

Supporting the Home Manager with day-to-day leadership
Guiding and mentoring the staff team to deliver high-quality, therapeutic care
Managing rotas, budgets, and compliance with Ofsted regulations
Creating a safe, structured, and nurturing home environment

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years experience in residential childcare
Level 4 qualification in Children and Young People
Strong knowledge of safeguarding and regulatory standards
Experience managing budgets and rotas
Full UK driving licence
