Groundworks Supervisor

Fawkes & Reece are currently looking for 2 x Groundworks Supervisors to start immediately to oversee the groundworkers on site who are laying pipes and additional groundwork duties in Whitby, YO22.

Client

Our Client is a Large civils sub-contractor who operates nationwide and works with award winning main contractors.

Job Description

• Supervising and overseeing the work carried out by the Groundworkers
• Reporting to the Site Manager daily on progress and any issues that may arise
• Ensuring all Groundworkers are performing tasks in line with Health and Safety procedures
• Completing any paperwork that is required - thoroughly and correct

Benefits

• The hourly rate is 22 per hour CIS/Umbrella.
• This contract is for 6 weeks work but could be extended.
• The working hours are 7:30am - 6pm, Monday - Friday plus weekend work.
• Weekend work is paid at double time.
• Free park and ride system to get to site in three locations including Whitby and Guisborough

Requirements

• Previous Supervisor experience
• Previous experience overseeing groundworks/large civil contracts
• SSSTS
• CSCS Card
• First Aid at Work - Desirable
• 2 recent work references if have not worked with Fawkes + Reece before.
