Junior Buyer (Direct - Engineering)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Buyer (Direct - Engineering) who will join an iconic motorcycle manufacturer organisation. The successful candidate will support with purchasing activities, supplier management, and procurement administration across various projects.

The Junior Buyer will:

• Support the purchasing function and other departments by identifying and communicating any supply issues that may affect projects.
• Act as a key contact for internal stakeholders to resolve issues around price, quality, delivery, or invoicing, escalating when necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for continuous improvement within purchasing.
• Evaluate supplier performance on quality, cost, and delivery, escalating concerns as needed.
• Assist in the creation of Management Information Systems (MIS) reports.

The Junior Buyer will have:

• Degree / Diploma in Engineering Qualified or Supply Chain specific qualification
• Manufacturing or Engineering experience.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and within a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• High attention to detail with excellent organisational abilities.
