Plant and Tool Fitter

Job Role:

Working for a regional Plant and Tool Hire Hire company, you will be working as a Plant and Tool Fitter / Service Engineer based in Hertfordshire. You will have previous engineering experience working on a range of Mechanical Diesel Plant and Petrol and Electrical Tools . The salary for this position is 32 - 35k, plus benefits. We are looking for someone who is familiar with working on Construction Equipment , with previous experience working within the Hire Industry. The position is permanent full time Monday - Friday.

As a Plant and Tool Service Engineer / Plant Fitter Your Job Role Would Include:

• PDI s, Servicing & Repairing Plant Hire Equipment
• Fit Accessories as Required
• Work Well Under Pressure
• Complete Administration Tasks including Service & Repair Records Accurately
• Present a Professional and Positive Attitude when working on Customer Sites
• Maintain Health & Safety To HSE & Company Standards

Skills:

The Ideal Candidate for the Service Engineer / Plant Fitter Role Will Have:

• Previous Experience in One or More of The Following Roles: Service Engineer; Mobile Service Engineer; Plant Fitter, Mobile Plant Fitter, Mobile Service Engineer, Tool Fitter
• You Will Need Previous Experience within Tool Hire / Plant Hire / Agricultural and Construction Equipment Industry
• Analytical Approach To Problem Solving
• Able to Work Without Instruction
• Own Tool Kit
• Basic IT Skills
• Good Communication Skills, both Verbal & Written
• Clean Current Driving License
