Senior Test Technician

We're hiring a Senior Test Technician in Cambridge! Up to GBP45K plus benefits

We're looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Senior Test Technician to support R&D and testing operations.

As a Senior Test Technician, you'll play a key role in assembling PCBs, maintaining lab equipment, preparing sensor evaluation kits, and supporting product development through testing and documentation.

What you ll do:

Assemble, inspect, and test PCBs and sensor modules
Build and maintain mechanical/electrical test setups
Prepare, test and dispatch customer evaluation kits
Maintain lab equipment, tools and calibration schedules
Support sensor test execution and data logging

What we re looking for:

HNC or higher in Engineering or Science
Strong manual soldering and PCB rework skills
Experience with oscilloscopes, power supplies & test chambers
Skilled in assembling complex test rigs
Good documentation, organisation and communication skills
R&D or new product development lab experience

Bonus if you have:

Experience with fluidic test setups or MEMS/sensor testing
3D printing experience
Familiarity with ISO9001 and ESD-safe practices
