Painter & Decorator

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail. This role requires proficiency in various painting techniques and the ability to communicate effectively with our managers to understand our vision. The Painter & Decorator will be responsible for both interior and exterior projects, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet our standards of excellence.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.
Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
Select appropriate materials and colours based on client specifications and project requirements.
Repair minor surface imperfections prior to painting to ensure a smooth finish.
Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure all tools and equipment are in good working order.
Communicate effectively with managers to discuss project details, timelines, and any changes needed during the process.
Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations while working on-site.

Qualifications

Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with clients and team members.
Previous experience in painting and decorating is highly desirable.
A valid driving licence is mandatory to facilitate travel between job sites.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to deliver high-quality workmanship.
Excellent communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: GBP140.00-GBP170.00 per day

Driving Licence (required)
CSCS (preferred)
PASMA (preferred)

Willingness to travel:
50% (preferred)
