This is a reactive position and as Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer you will play a pivotal part in maintaining the continuous production and improve efficiencies safely through effectively implementing preventative maintenance schedules and responding in a timely manner to various breakdown repairs.

This is a 4 on 4 off shift working 2 days followed by 2 nights.

Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer Responsibilities & Requirements

Must have experience within fast-paced FMCG environment
Will have a recognised multi skilled engineering apprenticeship or engineering qualification
Ensuring all equipment on site is in a satisfactory and safe condition and complies with current Health & Safety legislation
An understanding of pneumatic/hydraulic systems
Strong experience of engineering systems includding planned preventative maintenance
Completion of planned preventive maintenance
Completion of maintenance and breakdown records for all work undertaken on site
Interacting with onsite teams
To identify potential hazards/risks to the Health & Safety Manager/responsible person upon discovery
Must have a strong understanding of engineering principles
Positive attitude and strong communication skills are a must!
