Field Service Engineer (UK & International Travel)

• Strong mechanical and/or electrical background - qualified through apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent

• Proven hands-on experience in field service, maintenance, or commissioning of complex process equipment

• A proactive approach to time management, problem-solving, and customer communication

• Comfortable working away from home (up to 100 nights per year, worldwide)

• Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK

• 40,000- 45,000 base salary (plus regular overtime and night-away allowances)

• Experience in the water treatment , desalination , or process filtration sector

• Familiarity with RO (reverse osmosis) systems or marine/naval environments

• Strong customer presence and an interest in training, documentation, or continuous improvement

• Conducting service, repairs and fault-finding on bespoke water treatment systems across the UK and overseas

• Carrying out site surveys, equipment upgrades, commissioning, and client training

• Supporting compliance, health & safety and documentation (O&M manuals, reports)

• Collaborating with internal teams on testing, wiring, and workshop duties

• Being a reliable, front-facing technical representative of the company

• Ensuring tools, equipment, and travel logistics are ready and managed effectively
