Class 1 Hgv Driver

We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our clients Distribution Centre based in Middlewich as a Class 1 Driver. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to progress in their driving career with 5 shifts a week - Assessment & Immediate starts.

Class 1 Driver

• Mon to Fri Days 16.00ph (+ 1.93 Hols up front if requested = 17.93ph).

• Weekends 17.00ph (+ 2.05 Hols up front if requested = 19.05ph).

• Overtime 24.00ph.

• 5 days from 7 with some nights out.

• Start times on Days between 04.00-06.00.

Class 1 Driver Responsibilities

• Store Delivery - 2/3 stores per shift.

• Loading/unloading required with Pump Truck.

• Routine vehicle checks and general upkeep/cleanliness of the cab.

• Making sure that the load is correctly placed and secure before driving.

Essential Experience/ Qualities for this position

• Great work ethic.

• Minimum 12 Months UK Class 1 driving experience.

• Digital Tacho Card & CPC Card.

• Be professional and presentable at all times.

• Have a flexible approach to work and changing circumstances.

• Must not hold any more than 6 points on your license.

• No IN10, TT99 or DR10.
