Salary: 33,000 - 36,000

We're looking for a motivated and experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team on a rotating 3-shift pattern. This is an excellent opportunity to play a vital role in keeping our clients operations running efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and breakdown repairs on a wide range of mechanical equipment

• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults quickly and efficiently to minimise downtime

• Collaborate with production teams to ensure equipment performance is optimised

• Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives across the site

• Ensure all maintenance work complies with health, safety, and environmental standards

Requirements:

• Time-served apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering

• Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance role

• Strong mechanical fault-finding skills (e.g., hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, bearings, conveyors)

• Proactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
