I'm currently recruiting for a Facilities Technician Electrician to join a well-established and growing engineering team based in Market Drayton. This is a permanent, full-time role offering a competitive salary, structured daytime hours, and long-term career potential.

This position is ideal for a qualified electrician with experience in industrial maintenance, looking for a hands-on role in a fast-paced, technically focused environment.

• 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday (core hours 8:30am-5:00pm with flexibility)

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site

• Diagnosing faults and restoring operations with minimal disruption

• Supporting installations, modifications, and upgrades of equipment

• Conducting PAT testing and emergency lighting maintenance

• Ensuring all work complies with current wiring regulations (BS7671)

• Logging work through a CMMS (such as HolisTech)

• Supporting project work, energy-saving initiatives, and compliance checks

• Supervising contractors and managing permits as needed

Requirements:

• Fully qualified electrician with industrial experience

• Minimum Level 3 Electrical qualification (City & Guilds 2330/2365 or equivalent)

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certified

• Strong fault-finding and repair skills in an industrial setting

• Familiarity with inverters, control panels, and motor systems

• Comfortable working with health and safety protocols and permit systems

• Experience using a CMMS (e.g., HolisTech) is an advantage

Location:
This role is based in Market Drayton and is commutable from areas such as Telford, Shrewsbury, Stoke-on-Trent, or Newcastle-under-Lyme.
