Apprentice HVAC Controls Technician

Throughout your role, you’ll gain invaluable experience in: * Commissioning, programming, and setting up control systems, including communication links * Troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing digital control systems * Using advanced software, tools, and blueprints to diagnose, repair and optimise system performance * Working on heat pumps and developing your controls logic and programming skills Essential Skills and Experience: * Knowledge of electronics/controls and HVAC, electrical or mechanical systems * Familiarity with controls logic systems such as Siemens, Tridium, BACnet, Modbus, or LON is advantageous * Knowledge of building environmental systems including HVAC, mechanical services, and thermodynamic principles. * Strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills * Experience with CAD/programming and diagnostic software * Proficient in Microsoft Office and mobile apps to manage tasks and reports * Valid UK driver’s license On offer: Competitive salary of up to £32,000 per annum + company van with door-to-door payment with extensive benefits: Private Medical Insurance, company performance bonus death in service, enhanced pension, purchase additional holiday and fantastic career progression opportunities.
