Mechanical Engineer – Liverpool Street Location: Liverpool Street, London Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm Salary: £45,000 per annum + Travel Allowance + Pension Sector: Legal & Professional Services Overview: We’re seeking a reliable and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join the facilities team of a prestigious legal firm located near Liverpool Street. This role offers a stable weekday schedule and the chance to work in a premium commercial environment with cutting-edge building systems. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine mechanical maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, and heating systems Diagnose and repair faults in pumps, valves, and pipework Support minor mechanical installations and refurbishment projects Ensure compliance with health & safety and building regulations Collaborate with the wider FM team and external contractors to deliver high-quality service Maintain detailed service records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Requirements: NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Experience in commercial office environments, ideally within legal or financial sectors Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, water treatment, and mechanical plant Excellent organisational and communication skills Ability to work proactively and manage own workload Benefits: Company pension Annual leave package Career progression within a respected firm If you're a proactive, detail-oriented engineer with a passion for Mechanical maintenance, we want to hear from you!
