Electrical Engineer / Electrical Field Operative

Job Title: Electrical Engineer / Electrical Field Operative Start Date: ASAP Hourly Rate: £26.00  Location: Warrington - Covering the North West - (Canals and Rivers Trust and Environment Agency frameworks) Duration: 4 years Requirements: - Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Engineering - PLC Programming (Desirable) - Basic PLC Knowledge and fault finding - Knowledge of Comms Protocols: Modbus RTU/TCP, CC-link, Ethernet IP, Profibus/Profinet, Devicenet, Serial RS-232/485 - SCADA – ATU installation, configuration, set-up - Analogue measurement systems 0-20/4-20ma and 0-5/1-5v - Level/Pressure instruments – Radar, pressure, ultrasonic, SDI-12, Hart - Motor Starting systems – DOL, Star/Delta, Soft Starters, VSD’s - Actuator installation and set-up – Rotork, Auma, Limitorque and other systems - Knowledge of AC and DC Motors - Ability to read and understand Electrical Schematics - Familiarity with Pumps- Submersible, Dry - Understanding of Hydraulics and Pneumatics - Testing and inspection EIC/EICR – C&G 2391 Testing and Inspection - Good Mechanical understanding - Computer literacy, proficient with Microsoft Office - Strong personal skills, time-keeping, attendance, and ability to liaise with other engineers and clients Desirable: - Experience with hydraulic circuit systems - Signal isolators ICA interface - Experience with Rotork actuators - PLC programming experience - VSD drive settings - Knowledge of Generators G59 deapsea etc. - Pump impellor material selection Please contact Joseph Duffy on, (phone number removed) - (url removed)
