As an Engineering Manager you should be excited about growing the developers. This might be to ensure the teams have the correct skills in them, the developers have the skill levels required or the right people are in the right team to ensure they are growing in the direction they and the business needs.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Ensure Projects are delivered without friction.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to teams leading projects.
• Providing guidance to the team and ensuring they adhere to development standards.
• Ensuring adherence to software development methodologies and best practices
• Conducting performance evaluations and career development discussions
• Identifying training and skill development needs for the teams

Requirements

• You have proven experience in leading development teams.
• You are a good mentor & coach.
• You possess excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• You have a deep interest in developing people.
