Prospero Teaching is seeking Gradutes to support within SEN environments across Stockport next academic year. This is a perfect opportunities for those who are looking to go on to do a PGCE or who wish to gain experience in Education Psychology following their undergraduate degree. The ideal candidate: Experience of supporting pupils with SEN on a voluntary or paid basis OR/ experience of supporting those with complex needs in a care setting Those who obtain a qualification within Care/SEN Strong teamwork ethic Driven, energetic and keen to pursue a career in education and special needsThe role will consist of: Providing tailored support and working with children with SEN and complex needs Personal care Creating a safe environment Managing and diffusing challenging behaviourPosition Details LOCATION - Cheadle, Hulme (SK8) POSITION - Special Needs Teaching Assistant CONTRACT TYPE - Temporary - Permanent MINIMUM DAILY RATE - £85 HOURS - Full time Monday - Friday 08:30-15:30 term-time only START DATE - 03/09/2024To be considered for this role, you will have to register with Prospero Teaching and complete a Child & Adult DBS which is on the update service, unless you already have one.
