Vocational Teacher

Job Title: Vocational Teacher Location: East Heckington Salary: £26,209-£41,773 Hours: Full time, Term time only We are seeking a creative and passionate Vocational Teacher with the drive and commitment to raise achievement for the pupils at this school. To work as Vocational Teacher you will ideally have experience of teaching engaging lessons and be passionate about SEND and inclusion. Our client offers vocational subjects such as Hair and Beauty and Construction alongside traditional curriculum areas. Their class sizes are based on a model of 4 students to 2 adults enabling us to provide a trauma led approach to both pastoral support and educational progress. They will offer you the chance to make a real difference to young people and give you the time to plan to meet the needs of a small group of students. Overview of the role of Vocational Studies Teacher: -Plan and teach lessons, working with small groups and individual students. -Prepare teaching materials, instruct and monitor students in the use and care of equipment and materials, in order to prevent injuries and damage. -Help students develop confidence, independence and encourage them to learn. -Manage behaviour, mark work and talk to parents and carers about their children's progress.
