Site Manager - Utilities A well-respected and established Independent Connections Provider (ICP) is looking for a civil site Manager to join their operational workforce and to manage multiple projects across the Greater London region. The company provides full turnkey solutions within the power distribution sector (from 11kv to 132kv) and focuses on underground infrastructure works. Whilst being a corporate-facing company, inwardly they have a family feel and invest heavily in their team. This has resulted in increased staff retention and placing them in a strong position within their sectors. The responsibilities of the Site Manager will include. * To review all contracts/projects to ensure that the Company and Client’s requirements and expectations are fully identified, agreed upon, and understood. * To organise work for those Teams reporting to him daily to ensure the Company and clients' requirements are met. * Comply with the requirements of the company's Integrated Management System concerning Safety, Health, Environment and Quality. * To assist the Project Manager in achieving Company and client targets and objectives for Safety, Health, Environment and Quality. * The generation of Method Statements, Risk Assessments and CDM Plans with assistance from the Head of SHEQ. * To carry out site inspections regularly and take action to ensure all sites comply with current legislation. * To undertake or arrange Toolbox Talks. * To raise company awareness about Health and Safety issues. * To maintain accurate site diary and records as required under the project/contract. * To order plant and materials and record every week by company procedures and to ensure all plant and equipment used on site is fit for use with relevant test certificates. The requirements for the Site Manager are: * SMSTS * NRSWA Supervisory ticket * Good knowledge of street works and traffic management * Utilities experience, from first initial excavation right through to backfill and reinstatement * Good knowledge of Pack Office (Word, Excel, etc.) * Ability to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure * Full UK driving licence * To be committed to working in and around London What this is offering: * A starting salary ranging from £47,500 - £52,000 per annum * Company Vehicle * Fuel card * 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays * Contracted 42.5 hours per week with a 1-hour lunch * Monday to Friday site-based time is 7:30 am till 5 pm * Phone and Laptop provided * PPE provided * Pension contribution * Death in Service * Company bonus scheme If you feel like this is the position is for YOU and would like to find out more, please apply and send your most recent, up-to-date CV to Harry Medway
