Senior Project Manager

Contract - outside IR35 * Hybrid - Midland office * 9-12 month Candidates must of demonstrable delivery of D365 suite and ideally CRM and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) experience. This is a 'hands-on' and 'doing and delivery' Project Manager role with the candidate also able to report up to Exec-level stakeholders. Overview: A leading UK-based packaging distribution business is undergoing a transformation initiative to replace their current ERP, WMS, and CRM systems with a fully integrated solution using the Microsoft D365 suite. As part of this initiative, they are seeking a client-side Project Manager to oversee the implementation of D365 across ERP, WMS, and CRM. Responsibilities: * Drive end-to-end project management activities, from initiation to delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards. * Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements. * Develop actionable project plans in collaboration with the implementation partner. * Oversee the implementation of D365 solutions, integration efforts, data migration, testing, and deployment phases. * Define roles and responsibilities within the project team and manage resources effectively. * Facilitate daily stand-ups and provide regular status reporting to keep stakeholders informed. * Manage implementation partners to ensure deliverables are met within agreed timelines and budget. * Identify and manage risks and issues, developing contingency plans as needed. * Support decision-making processes and manage change control effectively. * Establish quality control processes and conduct regular audits to maintain project standards. Experience: * Proven experience in end-to-end delivery of D365 projects, including analysis, implementation, and support. * Strong project management skills with the ability to lead complex projects effectively. * Solid understanding of ERP systems, particularly Dynamics 365, and their business implications. * Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a track record of building and motivating cross-functional teams. * Experience working with implementation partners and suppliers in Agile and Waterfall environments. * Familiarity with DevOps for managing requirements and delivery is desirable
