Quantity Surveyor

Location: Dublin, Cork, or Waterford Company Details: A leading consultancy firm is seeking experienced Quantity Surveyors for positions based in Dublin, Cork, or Waterford. This is an excellent opportunity for commercially astute professionals with a strong consultancy background to join a growing, dynamic team delivering a wide range of high-impact projects across multiple sectors. Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of pre- and post-contract quantity surveying duties across multiple projects. Support contract negotiations and ensure full compliance with legal and contractual obligations. Mentor junior Quantity Surveyors, where applicable, contributing to team development and knowledge sharing. Prepare accurate cost plans, tender documents, and feasibility reports. Conduct value engineering and risk assessments as required. Liaise with design teams, clients, and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery. Monitor budgets, assess variations, and prepare monthly valuations. Requirements: Minimum of five years experience in a cost consultancy or client-side environment. Strong knowledge of the Irish construction market and established cost management practices. Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline. Preference for candidates with a PQS background. Based in Ireland or with a strong connection to the Irish market. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Proven track record of delivering multiple projects across various sectors.
