Mechanical CAD Design Engineer

We are recruiting a Mechanical CAD Design Engineer for our client based in Sheffield S9.

This is a temporary to permanent position working Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm and 8.30am to 2pm on Fridays.

13.50 per hour plus depending on experience, initially on a 3 month trial basis.

The role will include-

• Designing and detailing products to strict manufacturing standards
• Project responsibility from concept to completion
• Re-engineering existing designs to suit latest requirements
• Preparation of full detail manufacturing drawings- (2D&3D)
• Responsibility for maintaining ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 systems

The ideal candidate will have experience of-

• AutoCad 2D and Solid Works 3D
• Knowledge of CAD design engineering
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and 14001
• Design experience in mechanical, fabrication and engineering disciplines
• Being able to work on own initiative, multitasking and flexible work ethic

The role will also involve some customer interaction and site visits as necessary so a valid car licence would be an advantage.
