Hgv Class 2 Driver

Class 1 Personnel are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 HGV Drivers for ongoing work in Rowley Regis. If you're a professional driver looking for regular shifts and a reliable working environment, this could be the perfect fit.

Location: B65 Rowley Regis

Pay Rate: GBP13.43 per hour

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• Shift Time: 5:00 AM 6:00 PM
• Overtime available and paid at 150% after 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive and operate a Class 2 vehicle to collect commercial waste.
• Complete assigned routes efficiently and safely.
• Ensure accurate completion of paperwork and compliance with company procedures.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Follow health and safety regulations at all times.
• Provide a professional and courteous service to customers and members of the public.

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence
• Up-to-date CPC and Tacho Card
• Previous experience in waste collection or a similar driving role preferred
• Good communication skills and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
