Microbiologist

CK Group are recruiting for 2 x Microbiologists, to join a global leading food brand company, at their site based in Wokingham, this is a part time role (covering weekends), on a contract basis for 6 months.

Salary:

Hourly from GBP14.74 to GBP18.43 PAYE, depending on experience.

Microbiologist Role:

This role is primarily weekend working, carrying out testing for Routine Analysis (Endotoxins, Bioburdens, Total Viable Count, Environmental Monitoring).
Perform a range of basic routine analysis using (list techniques) under supervision of a senior member of staff.
Operate basic lab equipment.
Use of generic and specific software packages required for the role: Laboratory s LIMS system, Q-Pulse, etc.
Perform Lab admin and housekeeping duties, as directed.

Your Background :

Experience of High volume routine testing as microbiologist.
Either university background or with hands on experience, there is a range of rates available depending on experience.
Must be within 45 minutes of site (Wokingham), and able to work Saturday & Sundays.
Accountable, honest, hardworking and able to work efficiently in a team environment.
Meticulous attention to detail and an ability to follow written instructions.
Good written and verbal communication skills. Self motivated, enthusiastic and quick to learn.
