Monday - Friday (08:30AM - 4:00PM)
Rate of Pay: 85 - 100 per day
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) with a specialism in challenging behaviours to join our dynamic team. This full-time position in Romford is crucial in supporting students with varied needs and abilities - Primary need being Autism.
The role is available starting from September 2025 and will involve working closely with students who have a range of behavioural and emotional challenges. This role has become available due to the school's ongoing commitment to providing exceptional support for students with challenging behaviours.
Roles and responsibilities:
Experience working with children with challenging behaviours and special educational needs.
Strong understanding of Behavioural Support Plans and Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
Relevant qualifications in Special Educational Needs or equivalent experience preferred.
Support and manage students with challenging behaviours from KS1 - KS4.
Implement and monitor Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behavioural Support Plans.
Collaborate with teachers to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
