Machine Operator

CareerMakers Recruitment is currently looking for Machine Operatives/ Sawyers on behalf of our client based in Wigan.

Responsibilities:

• Using machinery and tools and ensuring that all products meet the required specifications
• Using math skills to follow specification sheets
• Setting up and operating machinery
• Keeping records and maintaining equipment
• Adept with use of power tools (saw, bench saw, multi-rip saw)
• Maintaining health and safety guidelines.
• An eye for detail, critical to quality
• Comfortable with a degree of manual handling

Skills:

• Math skills
• Pervious experience using hand and power tools
• Have an eye for detail
• Can work alone and use their own initiative, be organized, reliable and trustworthy

Working hours: Mon - Fri, 07:30AM to 16:30PM

Payrate: 14 Per Hour
