Carpenter

Our client a Hertfordshire based Construction Main Contractor currently seek an experienced 1st Fix Carpenter for one of their projects in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire.

It is essential that you hold a CSCS card and can provide references to back up your 1st fix skill set.

The work itself is a complete rebuild of a large mansion house.

Duties

• Installing roof joists
• Building Roof Structures
• PIR Installations
• All internal first fixing - Frames and Partitioning.
• Perform joinery tasks including cutting, shaping, and assembling materials.
• Operate power tools safely and efficiently for various carpentry tasks.
• All other associated tasks as instructed

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to carpentry.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job.
• Strong knowledge of joinery techniques and materials used in carpentry.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

This is an immediate start for the right candidate and will be up to 1 months work
