Welder/Fabricator

Location: Derbyshire

Shifts: Monday - Thursday 06:00 - 16:15 or 07:00 - 17:15

Pay Rate: GBP16.89p/h holiday pay + GBP2.04p/h holiday pay

A well-established manufacturing business in Derby is seeking an experienced Welder and Fabricator to join their team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a permanent position, and to work on a variety of interesting projects. The day-to-day responsibilities of the Fabricator/ Welder will involve the following.

• MIG and occasional TIG welding (Non-structural, with some basic structural welding)
• Welding materials such as Stainless Steel, Cromweld, and Chromalloy (Guage thicknesses range from 3mm to 20mm)
• Fabrication of components and basic mechanical fitting tasks
• Plating (experience beneficial)

The Fabricator/Welder must possess the following,

• Proven welding and fabricating experience in an industrial setting
• Certified mechnanical/welding and fabrication qualification
• Plating experience (preferred but not essential)
