The Company

Our client is providing you an opportunity to work for a global distribution centre that has over 50 sites based across the UK! The company possesses a large market share over its competitors in the automation industry. As a maintenance engineer you will have the opportunity to work on a fully automated site and state-of-the-art machinery to play your part in maintaining the company s title as a market leader!

The Role

Working as a maintenance engineer will involve:

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on automation systems and working towards reducing the number of breakdowns
• Mechanical responsibilities involving fault finding on conveyors, rollers, belts etc
• Electrical responsibilities involving fault finding using a multi-meter to isolate and lock off motors etc

Requirements

To be a successful maintenance engineer, our client requires:

• Previous experience in fault finding in either mechanical or electrical engineering you can be either bias
• An NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in either electrical or mechanical
