Steel Operative

A Steel Operative / Bander is required for an established steel processing company based in the Burntwood area of the West Midlands, working a permanent 6am-2pm morning shift .

You will be banding up processed steel coils on the back end of a slitting line and stacking blanks on the back end of a blanking line, alongside associated duties, loading / unloading, operating cranes and more.

Duties of this Steel Operative / Bander role include;

• Banding up processed steel coils
• Stacking processed steel blanks
• Operating overhead cranes to handle steel
• Loading and unloading steel onto the machine line

You will be working a permanent morning shift pattern -

• 6am - 2pm (Monday - Friday)

This Steel Operative / Bander role will be working on a temp-to-perm basis with long term opportunities available.

The role is paying 14.00 per hour , with weekly pay whilst on the agency.
