Electrical-Mechanical Service Engineer Pumps, Drainage & Wastewater Systems

GBP32,000 GBP45,000 DOE + Overtime + Bonus + Benefits

An established and reputable engineering company is looking to hire a skilled Electrical-Mechanical Service Engineer to join their growing team. This role offers a great mix of hands-on technical work across pumps, sewage treatment plants, pump stations, and drainage systems , covering both domestic and commercial sites.

The company is known for its supportive culture, professional standards, and long-standing relationships across the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service, diagnose, and repair pumps, drainage, and treatment systems

  • Work independently and manage your own workload and schedule

  • Complete job reporting using the BigChange platform

  • Participate in a monthly on-call rota (1 week per month, minimum 5 hours paid)

  • Deliver excellent customer service and maintain site standards

Candidate Requirements:
  • Electrical and/or mechanical experience (full product training provided)

  • Must live within a 20-mile radius of Bury St Edmunds

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Able to work independently, solve problems, and document work clearly

  • Organised, tidy, and methodical in approach

  • Salary GBP32,000 GBP45,000 depending on experience

  • Overtime at GBP25/hour
