Workshop Mechanic/Assembler

Bicester
Permanent

Hours 37.5 hours Monday to Thursday 07.30am-16.30pmand Friday 07.30am-12.00pm
Salary: Up to GBP30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities of the Workshop Mechanic/Assembler:

  • Producing UTV s (Utility Task Vehicle) and engine components and products according to precise build standards and special instructions,
  • Ensuring all work is completed to the required quality standard and following company procedures,
  • Carrying out repairs and overhauls of customer products as per build instructions and procedures and meeting deadlines consistently,
  • Maintaining work areas and equipment in good, clean condition to ensure a smooth work-flow,
  • Upholding safe working practices at all times, with a sharp focus on Health & Safety awareness,
  • Driving company vehicles may be required to collect or deliver parts or equipment when needed.

The Ideal Workshop Mechanic/Assembler:

  • Experience working in a busy workshop or production environment, demonstrating your ability to thrive under pressure.
  • Diesel engine knowledge would be beneficial.
  • Team working and good communication skills.
  • Possession of a recognised apprenticeship or other relevant qualification would be beneficial,
