Deputy Residential Manager-GBP16.99-Sleaford

Salary: GBP16.99 per hour, plus a quarterly bonus of 10% based on SMART objectives
Hours: Full Time 7am-7pm, 3-4 days a week and alternate weekends

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join a well-established care home near Sleaford. This a 35 bed service provides high-quality residential, nursing, and dementia care in a welcoming and homely environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in care, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service to residents. This is a great chance to work in a role where you will be supported, recognised, and encouraged to develop professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Home Manager in maintaining high standards of care and compliance
  • Lead and motivate the care team, setting a positive example and encouraging ongoing development
  • Oversee and maintain accurate care plans, ensuring monthly reviews are completed
  • Ensure safe, timely, and compliant medication management including audits and returns
  • Promote a positive and person-centred culture within the home
  • Uphold safeguarding policies and support the prevention of abuse

Essential Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • At least three years experience in a senior care role within a residential or nursing home
  • Strong skills in writing and reviewing care plans
  • Good understanding of safeguarding practices and procedures
  • Proven ability to conduct effective staff one-to-ones and supervisions

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar Deputy or leadership role
  • At least one year of experience working with dementia care
  • Supervisory experience within a care setting
  • NVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care or above
  • Full UK driving licence
