Are you passionate about keeping outdoor spaces pristine and well-maintained? We're seeking a dedicated Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team. As an Grounds Maintenance Operative, you'll be responsible for a variety of tasks aimed at enhancing the appearance and functionality of outdoor environments. Your duties will include strimming, leaf blowing, grass cutting, operating ride-on mowers, and driving small and up to 3.5 tonne long wheelbase (LWB) vans for transportation needs.

Responsibilities:

• Perform strimming to cut grass and weeds in hard-to-reach areas.
• Use leaf blowers to clear leaves and debris from outdoor spaces.
• Operate ride-on mowers to efficiently cut grass on larger properties.
• Conduct grass cutting to maintain lawns and keep them neat and tidy.
• Drive small and up to 3.5 tonne long wheelbase (LWB) vans for transportation and delivery purposes.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing tasks.
• Maintain equipment in good working condition and report any issues.

Experience:

• Previous experience in outdoor maintenance or landscaping preferred.
• Proficiency in operating strimmers, leaf blowers, ride-on mowers, and vans.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for outdoor work.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks in various weather conditions.
• Willingness to follow safety protocols and guidelines.
