Position: CNC Programmer - Turning
Location: Cinderford
Permanent Full-Time Competitive Salary + Shift Allowance
I'm working with a well-established precision engineering company in Cinderford who are looking for an experienced CNC Programmer - Turner to join their team. This role offers variety, great benefits, and the chance to work on exciting projects using Fanuc-controlled horizontal and vertical turning machines.
The Role:

Set, program, and operate CNC lathes with a range of Fanuc controls
Produce small to medium components in cast iron, duplex stainless steel, and bronze
Handle both castings and billet work
Maintain precision and quality standards
Work collaboratively in a busy engineering environment

The Ideal Candidate:

Apprenticeship-trained CNC Turner (or equivalent experience)
Confident with Fanuc controls
Skilled in working to tight tolerances
Flexible, proactive, and eager to develop skills (training available)

Shift Pattern (Double Day):

Week 1: Mon-Fri 06:00 - 14:00
Week 2: Mon-Thu 14:00 - 22:00, Fri 06:00 - 14:00
