Senior Operations Manager - Construction

Role: Large main contractor with secured work load for next 3 years with key clients is looking to take on a hands on Senior Operations Manager who will run their schemes operationally. This Operations Management role is both delivery and strategy focused. You will cover up to 4 large sites with full teams on them but have ultimate control of them. You will also be a major part in the development of the business as it grows. Both Operationally responsible and Commercially aware for around £65m per annum. The work is large scale construction schemes in Apartment, Student Accomodation or large care facilities. Experience: * Managing multiple large schemes * The overall strategic direction and performance of the business unit * Client contract delivery, in, customer relationships and management of relevant teams * P&L, cash flow and costs * Creating a work safe culture * Able to manage others to deliver multiple projects at the same time * Good communicator and have experience dealing with clients and subcontractors * Must have good IT skills and be able to use word and outlook * Able to produce construction programmes * A flexible, "can do" attitude and want to work as part of a team * Able to produce and deliver progress reports * Must be able to manage the H&S, quality and programme performance on their projects via their management team This is a very fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to see real progression and is keen to work with a business that is growing and developing
