The role

• Working in a large asphalt plant with a team of 4 Operatives and a Plant Supervisor.
• Assisting the Plant Supervisor with all aspects of running the plant
• Operating the loading shovel
• Mixing Asphalt
• Operating the weighbridge
• Administrative duties inc report writing, updating records, and budget control.
• Ensuring health & safety is adhered at all times
• Mainly a "days" role, 06:00-15:30, but other shifts will be required depending upon demand, inc nights

What you need

• Ideally previous experience of working in an asphalt plant, if not concrete, cement, mortar or similar
• Ideally experience in a supervisor/ team leader/ foreman role
• Experience of operating a loading shovel
• Ideally experience operative a weighbridge and mixing
• Must have experience in working in an environment where health & safety is essential
• IT Literate
