Shift Team Leader (Nights)

Manufacturing Warehouse Team Leader (Nights) Role Overview the Warehouse Team Leader (Nights) is responsible for supervising a specific team within the warehouse, ensuring daily tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard. This role reports to the Shift Leader and focuses on frontline team performance and task execution. Key Responsibilities • Supervise a team of warehouse operatives during the night shift • Allocate daily tasks such as picking, packing, loading, or replenishment • Monitor individual and team performance, ensuring productivity targets are met •Provide on-the-job training, guidance, and support to team members • Ensure adherence to health & safety procedures at all times • Maintain accuracy in stock handling and order fulfilment • Report any issues, delays, or concerns to the Shift Leader promptly • Assist in resolving minor operational problems within the team • Conduct team briefings and ensure clear communication of daily objectives • Promote a positive and motivated team environment Skills & Experience • Experience working in a warehouse environment (supervisory experience preferred) • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to motivate and manage a small team • Good organisational skills and attention to detail • Basic problem-solving ability • Understanding of warehouse operations and safety practices • Ability to work night shifts consistently • MHE Trained (counterbalance/Bendi) • First Aid trained Shifts/Working Hours: work 4 over 7 Days, 12-hour Shifts, weeks run from Sunday Saturday for operational purposes Shift pattern Week 1 Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday Week 2 Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday Salary: £33,000 - £34,000 per annum If you are interested in our job offer, please apply today or give us a call.
