Group Finance Manager

Group Finance Manager | £50k–£70k | East Cheshire | On-site Axon Moore is partnering with a market-leading manufacturer in East Cheshire to recruit a Group Finance Manager for a high-performing, globally operating business. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong finance professional to lead a small team, oversee group accounting, VAT, tax, and audit, drive process improvements, and partner with stakeholders across the organisation. Key Responsibilities: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting Deliver variance analysis and commercial performance insights Oversee day-to-day finance operations, including month-end, VAT, tax, AP/AR, and controls Support cash flow forecasting and treasury activities Coordinate external audit and ensure financial compliance Identify financial risks and drive process improvements Lead, coach, and develop a small finance team Partner with stakeholders to support strategic business objectives The Candidate: ACCA / CIMA qualified Proven experience in a Finance Manager or Group Management Accountant role Strong technical accounting, audit, and tax knowledge Experience leading and developing finance teams ERP systems experience To apply for this role, please follow the link below, and for more information call Maria @Axon Moore
