Teaching Assistant - SEN School

About The Role Start Date: ASAP Full-time position within a specialist SEN school. Support pupils with a range of needs, including autism, severe learning difficulties and complex needs. Provide both pastoral and academic support to help pupils engage in learning. Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups. Support students with personal care needs, including toileting, feeding and mobility. Work closely with teaching staff and other professionals to deliver a structured and supportive learning environment. Why This Role? What you'll need to succeed Previous experience supporting children or young people, with at least one referenceable role. Experience with SEN or in a care/support setting is advantageous. Comfortable supporting pupils with personal care needs. Resilient, patient and empathetic approach. Able to build strong, positive relationships with pupils.
