Removals Sales Estimator

The Role This is a field-based surveying role at the heart of the sales function, reporting directly to the Head of Sales. The majority of your time will be spent out on client sites across London conducting surveys, with regular returns to the company's Hounslow and NW10 locations — so the ability to commute to both is essential. You will be responsible for surveying prospective clients, understanding their requirements, and working closely with the Move Manager team to ensure quotations are accurate, competitive and reflective of what has been discussed. You will then own the follow-up process — negotiating and closing the sale. This is a target-driven role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment and takes pride in delivering an exceptional first impression of the business. Key Responsibilities * Conduct up to 6 surveys per day (approx. 30 per week) — primarily site surveys (80%), with video surveys as required (20%) * Survey mix: Domestic removals (75%) | Commercial (15%) | Overseas (10%) * Provide detailed survey notes and liaise with the Move Manager team to ensure quotations accurately reflect client requirements, using company survey software * Upsell additional services where appropriate throughout the survey process * Manage the follow-up process, recording detailed updates within the company database * Negotiate and close sales with Move Manager support * Produce accurate survey reports and attend regular sales meetings * Communicate leads of interest and contribute to team best practice * Build and develop relationships with new and existing clients * Work in line with company Health & Safety policies and internal processes About You We are looking for an experienced removals surveyor who knows the industry and can hit the ground running. You will have: * Proven experience surveying and estimating domestic and commercial removals — this is essential * A strong track record in a target-driven sales environment * Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage clients at all levels * A great knowledge of London and the ability to manage a busy daily survey schedule efficiently * Strong organisational skills and attention to detail * Good time management, administration and numeracy skills * A well-presented, professional manner — you will be the face of the business on every visit * Self-motivation, drive and the energy to consistently perform at a high level * Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs * The ability to commute regularly to Hounslow and NW10 How to Apply If you have removals surveying experience and you're looking for a role with genuine earning potential at an award-winning business, we'd love to hear from you.
