Job Title: Site Manager Location: Norwich Contract Type: Fixed-Term (18 Months) Project: High-Rise Re-Cladding Scheme About the Role: We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a major re-cladding project on a high-rise residential building in Norwich. This is an 18-month fixed-term contract, offering the opportunity to play a key role in delivering a complex and safety-critical scheme. Key Responsibilities: * Manage day-to-day site operations to ensure the project is delivered safely, on time, and within budget * Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams * Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations, particularly in relation to façade and cladding works * Monitor progress against programme and report to senior management * Conduct site inspections and quality control checks * Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders * Maintain accurate site records and documentation Requirements (Essential): * Proven experience as a Site Manager on high-rise re-cladding or façade remediation projects * Strong understanding of external wall systems, fire safety regulations, and compliance standards * Valid SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Manager level), and First Aid certification * Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills * Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain high safety standards Desirable: * Experience working on occupied residential buildings * Knowledge of current building safety legislation and remediation programmes * Temporary Works Coordinator or Supervisor certification If this role is of interest, please reach out to Charles Howe of Tradeline Recruitment
