Lead Control Systems Engineer

Senior/Lead Control Systems Engineer - Energy Sector CAN BE BASED FROM GLASGOW OR STAFFORDSHIRE We're looking for an experienced and motivated engineer to join my clients growing Energy team, delivering cutting-edge control systems for renewable power generation and storage projects. In this role, you'll lead project delivery across the full lifecycle-driving software design, development, and implementation for DCS/PLC/SCADA/RTU systems, while mentoring junior engineers and working closely with project managers.The candidate should have proven main-stream control automation experience across several previous projects. Projects include upgrades of systems to latest versions, modification of systems for extensions and improvements as well as new build projects. 🔧 Key Requirements: * 3-5+ years' experience with technologies such as Siemens PCS7, Rockwell ControlLogix or Schneider M580/M340 * SCADA expertise (e.g. WinCC, PCS7, Zenon, Rockwell FactoryTalk, or similar) * Proven track record in design specs, IEC61131 programming & FATs * Technical leadership and team mentoring experience 🌍 Travel required | 🚗 Full UK driving licence essential Join us and play a key role in shaping the future of renewable energy.
