Electrical Design Engineer Up to £45,000 per annum + Bonus + Benefits Hereford Permanent Position I am currently working with an engineering business in Hereford that’s looking to add an Electrical Design Engineer to its growing team. This is a permanent role offering a salary of up to £45,000 plus benefits, where you’ll play a key part in taking products from concept through to production. You’ll be involved in both new product development and continuous improvement, working within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary engineering environment. What you’ll be doing: Leading electrical design for special purpose equipment (schematics, control panels, cable schedules) Selecting electrical components with compliance and safety in mind Supporting PLC-based control systems Producing detailed electrical documentation and contributing to design reviews and testing What they’re looking for: Experience in electrical product design or development Background in R&D or New Product Development Strong attention to detail and a structured, proactive approach Experience with control panels, PLCs, or VSDs would be an advantage
