Residential Care Worker for Learning Disabilities Location: DE14 Burton and DE11 Swadlincote Bridge2Future Care Group is seeking a passionate and dedicated Residential Care worker to join our specialist learning disability children’s residential home. If you have experience in residential childcare supporting children with learning disabilities or neurodivergence, this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact. What We Offer Competitive hourly pay: £12.80–£13.30 per hour Sleep-in allowance: £70 per shift Funded QCF Diploma qualifications in Residential Child Care Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) Employee of the Month Scheme (£50 voucher) Additional holiday entitlement for length of service Company pension, discounted/free meals, health & wellbeing programme About the Role Rotational shifts between 7:30 am and 11:00 pm, across a 7-day working week Overnight sleep-ins required Provide high-quality care tailored to individual needs Safeguard and promote the welfare of young people Act as a positive role model and help young people achieve their potential Complete reports and documentation, including care plans and risk assessments What We’re Looking For Diploma Level 3 or 4 in Residential Child Care (or willingness to work towards) Experience working with children and young people with various learning disabilities Full UK manual driving licence Ability to work shifts and overnight sleep-ins Must be 21+ (children’s home regulations) DBS check required Additional Information This post is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
