Hgv 2 Driver

We are looking for someone who has experience driving large/ heavy goods vehicles, experience in local authority or waste industry is a plus! Skills: Safe driving, attention to detail, following routes, spatial awareness and teamwork Knowledge: Must know health and safety procedures and we’d like for you to be familiar with local routes, but this is not essential. Requirements: Must have a full clean driver’s licence, HGV2 Licence and rear steer expereince. Your responsibilities will include following pre- planned routes and sticking to a schedule, you will be assisted by loaders who will collect the waste. You will also have to transport the waste to a waste facility. To supervise Refuse Collectors and temporary agency employees working on refuse rounds and other associated operations, ensuring efficiency and safety of operation
