Year 3 Class Teacher Location: Ealing Borough, West London Contract Type: Full-time, Fixed-term (January to end of the academic year) Start Date: January Salary: MPS (dependent on experience) Potential: Possibility of the role becoming permanent in September Year 3 Class Teacher - January Start An opportunity has arisen for a Year 3 Class Teacher to join a well-regarded, three-form entry primary school in the Ealing borough from January. The role is initially until the end of the academic year, with the potential for a permanent appointment in September for the right candidate. The Headteacher is keen to receive applications from experienced teachers and will also consider exceptional Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who demonstrate strong classroom practice and a commitment to professional development. About the Role As the Year 3 Class Teacher, you will: Take full responsibility for a Year 3 class, planning and delivering high-quality lessons across the curriculum Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where all pupils feel supported and challenged Work collaboratively with parallel class teachers and support staff to ensure consistency and progression across the year group Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and adapt teaching to meet pupils' needs Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues The Ideal Candidate Will: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Have recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Lower KS2 preferred) Be an experienced teacher or an exceptional ECT with strong mentoring references Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills Be reflective, organised, and committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning Enjoy working as part of a collaborative, supportive, and forward-thinking team This is a fantastic opportunity to join a positive school community where staff are valued, children are enthusiastic learners, and there is genuine potential for long-term career progression.
