Roles now extended until December 2026 Shift Pattern Training: Day shifts initially After Training: Early or late shifts Shift Details & Rates: ShiftHoursFirst 12 WeeksAfter 12 Weeks Day (training)7:30 am - 4:15 pm Mon-Thu, 7:30 am - 11:30 am Fri£18.09 (£20.72 inc. holiday)£18.64 (£21.35 inc. holiday) Early6:00 am - 2:00 pm Mon-Thu, 6:00 am - 1:30 pm Fri£19.90 (£22.79 inc. holiday)£20.50 (£23.48 inc. holiday) Late2:00 pm - 11:45 pm Mon-Thu£21.70 (£24.86 inc. holiday)£22.36 (£25.61 inc. holiday) OvertimeAs required£27.13 (£31.07 inc. holiday)£27.95 (£32.02 inc. holiday) SundaysAs required£36.17 (£41.43 inc. holiday)£37.27 (£42.69 inc. holiday) Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, grinders, or sliding head machines Work from engineering drawings and work instructions Record and interpret SPC data Use precision measuring tools (verniers, micrometers, plug gauges) Perform manual machining, toolmaking, and deburring tasks Maintain safe working practices and support continuous improvement initiatives Experience Required Proven machining experience in relevant roles CNC machinists: experience on machines such as Mori Seiki NH5000, Hardinge Conquest, Citizen Sliding Head, etc. Fastems experience preferred for CNC Machining Centre roles Ability to read and work from engineering drawings Competence in SPC recording and precision measuring tools Apprenticeship or equivalent practical experience Aerospace, defence, or regulated industry experience desirable Right to work in the UK and eligible for ITAR-controlled work If you have CNC or manual machining experience and want to join a busy, supportive engineering team, we'd love to hear from you
