They are a busy, growing, well-equipped veterinary hospital in a beautiful part of Western Australia, and they’re looking to welcome one (or two!) full-time veterinarians to join their friendly, down-to-earth team. Whether your passion is small animal only or mixed rural practice, we’re happy to shape the role around you. The place has a real ‘family feel’ about it, where everyone pulls together when there’s work, and relaxes when it’s time. Decisions can be made quickly, and ideas are encouraged. At present, their caseload is over 90% small animal, but they’re based in a rich agricultural area with excellent potential to grow large animal work again, and you won’t be on your own. Their practice owner Liz, has completed membership exams in this field and brings extensive experience, support, and mentoring (especially ideal for anyone keen to develop their mixed skills). About the Role You’ll enjoy a varied and interesting caseload, modern equipment, and the autonomy to practice good medicine properly. After-hours work is negotiable, you don’t have to do it, but it’s available if you want it (and often surprisingly rewarding). They’re open to experienced vets and new graduates alike. If you’re starting out, you’ll be supported and guided. If you’re experienced, you’ll be trusted and encouraged to bring your ideas to the table.
