We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join a critical energy infrastructure terminal located on Teesside. This is an excellent opportunity to become an integral part of a highly regulated, safety-focused terminal operation within a COMAH-regulated environment. The role is ideal for candidates with strong hands-on experience in hazardous area electrical maintenance. Key Responsibilities: Performing planned and reactive maintenance on electrical systems across the terminal Inspecting, testing and fault-finding of Motor Control Centres (MCCs), LV panels and distribution systems, Inspecting, testing and fault-finding of motors, lighting, UPS systems, and emergency systems Supervising contractors and ensuring compliance with site safety and electrical standards Supporting project work and minor modifications to electrical systems Ensuring documentation is completed accurately and in line with regulatory expectations Conducting electrical isolations in line with LOTO procedures Participating in the site’s on-call rota for emergency support What we're looking for: BTEC/NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or time-served apprenticeship COMPEX Units 01–04 certification (essential) BS7671 (18th Edition) Experience within a petrochemical, chemical, or hazardous industry Competency in isolation procedures and safety documentation Additional certifications: IPAF 3A & 3B, PASMA, Working at Heights, Asbestos Awareness For more information, please reach out
